en.Wedoany.com Reported - SK Hynix announced that it will invest 1.4 trillion KRW over the next five years to establish a "Growth Cycle Customized Win-Win Model," aimed at supporting first, second, and third-tier partner companies in enhancing their competitiveness within the AI semiconductor supply chain. The plan focuses on comprehensive support spanning the entire process from technology R&D to mass production and sales, with the goal of strengthening the overall capabilities of South Korea's semiconductor ecosystem.
This win-win initiative was officially unveiled at the "SK Win-Win Signing Ceremony with First, Second, and Third-Tier Partner Companies" held at SKT Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul. Its core is to provide personalized support for partner companies across the full business cycle, including R&D, testing and validation, mass production, and sales.

During the technology development phase, SK Hynix has introduced the "R&D Challenge Compensation System" for the first time. For partner companies facing financial difficulties in technology development, this system will provide upfront funding of up to 50% of the initial development costs. Even if the R&D project does not succeed, the company will still recognize the technological contributions and settle the corresponding expenses. Additionally, existing support programs such as patent sharing and the provision of fine-pattern wafers will continue.
In the testing and validation phase, SK Hynix will build an empirical infrastructure facility covering approximately 1,000 pyeong within the first phase of the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, named "Trinity Fab," and plans to open it to partner companies next year. Partner companies will be able to validate equipment and materials in an environment identical to actual mass production lines.
During the mass production phase, SK Hynix will operate a "Joint Growth Fund" to support low-interest funding. Additionally, consulting support in areas such as smart factory construction, security, ESG, and safety, health, and environment will be expanded to include second and third-tier partner companies.
In the sales phase, SK Hynix will increase the scale of its payment support fund and maintain a system of four monthly settlements with a payment period not exceeding 10 days, to improve the liquidity of partner companies. Furthermore, the win-win settlement system will continue to operate to prevent potential cash flow tensions at various stages of the supply chain.
SK Hynix stated that it will fully support partner companies in developing into global technology enterprises, and based on this, lead the global AI market through a healthy supply chain ecosystem.
