Through this acquisition, Iridium aims to integrate space-based air traffic monitoring and aviation intelligence services with its satellite communications network and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities, providing real-time visibility and actionable operational data to global aviation stakeholders.

Iridium CEO Matt Desch stated that the two companies share a mission to advance the future of aviation safety, and the vision from over a decade ago has become a foundational capability for global air traffic management, enabling real-time monitoring and operational intelligence.
