en.Wedoany.com Reported - Huawei has signed an agreement with the Argentine Agricultural Federation (AFA) aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Argentina's agricultural market.

The two parties plan to jointly develop solutions in connectivity, data processing, clean energy, and agricultural talent cultivation.
In terms of connectivity, they will explore technological solutions that enhance AFA's operational connectivity. Huawei is currently advancing related projects in sectors such as entertainment and mining in Argentina. For data processing, they will launch information processing solutions to support decision-making and strengthen institutional management. In clean energy, they will analyze opportunities to introduce renewable energy into AFA facilities and related institutions to reduce operational costs and ensure production sustainability. Regarding talent cultivation, they will develop educational and vocational training solutions to strengthen the human capital, technical teams, and capabilities of associated producers within the cooperative.
The parties also plan to identify technological needs and advance other initiatives that benefit over 36,000 producers in the cooperatives across Buenos Aires, Chaco, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Salta, San Luis, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero, and Tucumán.
Xiao Binbing, Huawei's local CEO in Argentina, stated that Huawei has accompanied Argentina's technological development for 25 years, and this agreement represents an opportunity to bring this experience into the core of Argentina's agricultural cooperative system, one of the country's main economic activities.
Additionally, the parties will establish a supervisory committee to evaluate the impact of proposals and the progress of pilot projects in the aforementioned areas.
