These two contracts further strengthen the company's position in India's rail freight vehicle manufacturing sector.
The orders are specifically divided as follows: the order from JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited is valued at INR 2,532.8 crore, involving the manufacture and supply of BFNSM1 wagon sets and BVCM wagons, with an execution period of 13.5 months from the effective date or commencement of work; the order from Sushila Transport Private Limited is valued at INR 978.8 crore, involving the manufacture and supply of ACT1 wagon sets and BVCM wagons, with execution no later than October 31, 2027. The total value of these two contracts is INR 3,511.6 crore, adding new order reserves to the company's vehicle manufacturing business portfolio.
The above contracts reflect the sustained demand for modern freight wagons from private logistics operators and industrial customers. Specialized wagon sets are used to improve cargo transportation, reduce transport costs, and enhance supply chain efficiency. The configuration of BFNSM1 and ACT1 wagon sets supports specialized freight transport, while the addition of BVCM wagons enhances customer operational flexibility.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited will execute the JSW order within 13.5 months, and the contract with Sushila Transport is scheduled for completion by October 2027.
