en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 7, German wind power equipment company Nordex secured an approximately 700MW wind turbine order from domestic renewable energy developer UKA. The order covers onshore wind projects across multiple German federal states, with Nordex supplying 100 wind turbines, including models N175/6.X and N163/6.X, each with a rated capacity of 7MW.

This wind turbine order also includes multi-year service and maintenance agreements, meaning Nordex will not only deliver equipment but also participate in long-term technical support during the project operation phase. The order stems from UKA's project outcomes in Germany's renewable energy auctions in August 2025 and February 2026. As projects enter the equipment procurement phase, wind power initiatives will subsequently shift to manufacturing scheduling, turbine transportation, foundation construction, hoisting, and grid connection preparation.

UKA previously set a target of installing 1GW of wind capacity in a single calendar year, and this 700MW wind turbine order will be a key component in advancing its German onshore wind projects. For Nordex, this order helps expand its delivery scale in the domestic German market. Onshore wind project construction in Germany typically requires coordination of land, permits, grid access, and construction windows; the actual implementation progress will depend on site-specific conditions and grid arrangements.
