en.Wedoany.com Reported - From July 30 to 31, 2026, the 2026 (Second) National Catalytic Oxidation Technology and Application Exchange Conference will be held in Jinan, Shandong, China, aiming to promote in-depth industry-academia-research exchanges in this field.
Catalytic oxidation reactions are key fundamental processes in chemical synthesis, playing a significant role in advancing green chemical transformation and carbon emission reduction. Since 2025, the industry has shown three major trends: first, the production capacity share of the HPPO method for propylene oxide continues to rise, while the traditional high-pollution chlorohydrin process is accelerating its market exit; second, significant progress has been made in cutting-edge directions such as electrocatalytic olefin epoxidation and AI-assisted catalyst design, though there remains a gap to large-scale industrialization; third, the localization of products such as silver catalysts for ethylene oxide and new catalysts for propylene oxide is steadily advancing. Meanwhile, common challenges in catalyst design for long life and high selectivity, green solvent development, and engineering scale-up remain prominent.

During this catalytic oxidation conference, the organizers also plan to hold the 2026 (Second) National Carbonyl Synthesis Technology and Application Exchange Conference, the 2026 (Seventh) Surfactant Industry Training Course, the 2026 Epoxy Resin and Curing Agent Application Technology Training Course, and the 2026 Acrylate Technology and Application Training Course, along with the 2026 Radiation Curing Technology and Application Training Course, all at the same venue.
