Jinan, China to Host Second Catalytic Oxidation and Carbonyl Synthesis Exchange Conference in July

Catalytic oxidation reactions are key fundamental processes in chemical synthesis, playing a significant role in advancing green chemical transformation and carbon emission reduction. Since 2025, the industry has shown three major trends: first, the production capacity share of the HPPO method for propylene oxide continues to rise, while the traditional high-pollution chlorohydrin process is accelerating its market exit; second, significant progress has been made in cutting-edge directions such as electrocatalytic olefin epoxidation and AI-assisted catalyst design, though there remains a gap to large-scale industrialization; third, the localization of products such as silver catalysts for ethylene oxide and new catalysts for propylene oxide is steadily advancing.
