en.Wedoany.com Reported - Amazon's Global Warehousing and Distribution (GWD) has officially commenced operations in East China, with dual warehouses in Shanghai and Ningbo launching on July 7. This marks another expansion in Amazon's cross-border logistics network following the full operation of the first GWD warehouse in Shenzhen.
Leveraging the transshipment advantages of the Yangtze River Delta port cluster, the new warehouses introduce a series of product and feature updates to provide sellers with more agile and cost-effective support for going global. The "Auto-Replenishment" feature is now fully available, automatically calculating and recommending replenishment plans for sellers to mitigate stockout risks. Additionally, support for FOB trade terms has been officially launched to accommodate different sellers' business scenarios and needs. Furthermore, Amazon announced fee reductions: from July 1 to December 31, 2026, sellers storing inventory at GWD warehouses in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Ningbo will enjoy 30 days of free warehousing from the date of receipt, lowering the entry barrier.
