en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russian tire manufacturer Cordiant Holding is advancing the modernization of the testing base at its "Intayr" Technology Center, planning to update equipment for the technology center departments at four plants: Yaroslavl, Omsk, Kaluga (formerly Continental's plant), and Ulyanovsk (formerly Bridgestone's plant).

Under the modernization framework, departments of the "Intayr" Technology Center will be equipped with equipment for raw material quality control, as well as devices for developing and testing improved rubber compound formulations. The plan requires equipping the laboratory with high-tech equipment, including ozone chambers and chromatographs for assessing the stability of rubber and wax, and promoting automation of control processes.

Dmitry Gorbachev, General Director of Cordiant Holding, stated that the holding is committed to continuous development and progress, implementing a large-scale investment program covering several major projects to enhance production and scientific foundations. He noted that the modernization of the infrastructure at the "Intayr" Technology Center laboratory is one of the key priorities for strengthening the holding's scientific and technological potential. Cordiant has extensive production capacity, ranking first in passenger car tire production with a market share of 27%.

The "Intayr" Technology Center was established in 2009 and is responsible for developing products and technologies for Cordiant Holding and its industrial assets.
