He served successively as Deputy Director of the No. 3 Steelmaking Plant, Deputy Director and then Director of the General Steelmaking Plant, before being promoted to Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., as well as Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Committee Standing Committee of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation. After the merger of Baosteel and Wugang in October 2016, Zou Jixin served as a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee of China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., and concurrently as Director, General Manager, and Deputy Party Secretary of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. from February 2017 to January 2019, and as Chairman and Party Secretary of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. from January 2019 to June 2026. Prior to this adjustment, he had been serving as Deputy General Manager of China Baowu since June 2026.

Wu Xiaodi's career has primarily developed within the Baosteel system. He served successively as Deputy Director of the Finishing Branch of Baosteel Hot Rolling Plant, Director of the No. 2 Rolling Branch, Assistant Director, Deputy Director, and then Director of the Hot Rolling Plant, Director of the Plate Department of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., and Assistant General Manager and Director of the Manufacturing Management Department of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. Subsequently, he served as a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and concurrently as Executive Director and Party Secretary of Wugang Co., Ltd., Director, General Manager, and Deputy Party Secretary of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., as well as Chairman and Party Secretary of TISCO and TISCO Stainless Steel, while concurrently serving as the Chief Representative of China Baowu's Shanxi Headquarters.
