Rego-Fix USA Introduces MicroTexture Surface Finish for powRgrip Clamping Units

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Rego-Fix Tool Corp (Rego-Fix USA) is applying a new premium MicroTexture surface finish to select models of its powRgrip® clamping system.

This upgraded surface finish is now available on the company's PGS 10, PGS 15, PGS 25, PGS 48, PGU 9500, and PGU 9800 models, enhancing the durability, appearance, and surface protection required to withstand demanding manufacturing environments.

The company will apply the MicroTexture surface finish to the green and black/gray metal plates that form the exterior of the powRgrip® clamping units. This matte finish is designed to enhance both the aesthetics and performance of the units, offering improved resistance to fingerprints, stains, and surface scratches to maintain a clean, modern appearance.

"Our goal is to continuously improve every aspect of the powRgrip® customer experience, from toolholder performance to the appearance and longevity of the equipment itself," said David McHenry, Vice President of Engineering at Rego-Fix USA. "Our MicroTexture surface finish provides manufacturers with a more durable surface that reinforces the premium quality they expect from our products."

Rego-Fix will implement the MicroTexture surface finish as a rolling production change. All future units of the affected models will be manufactured with the upgraded finish, but customers may receive either the previous or new finish during the transition period. Additionally, the company is evaluating a similar upgrade for its PGC manual clamping units.

The Rego-Fix powRgrip® system combines exceptional clamping force, precision, and ease of use through a patented press-fit design, delivering superior runout accuracy, vibration damping, and toolholder security for a wide range of machining applications.
