en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nunsys Group has officially launched a new data center integrated within its Nunsys Cloud platform. Located in Paterna, Valencia, the facility is designed to meet the demands of businesses and public administrations in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business continuity, and secure data hosting. At the inauguration ceremony, institutional representatives from the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as the city councils of Paterna and Valencia, joined the company's management team to witness the facility's unveiling. Nunsys Group Chairman Paco Gavilán stated that the project aims to strengthen organizations' technological autonomy through secure, resilient infrastructure located within national territory.

The data center is the result of a comprehensive renovation process over the past seven months. Spanning 450 square meters, it can accommodate 150 racks and up to 5,000 servers, ready to absorb the growth in enterprise digitalization and AI-based workloads. The infrastructure holds Tier III certification and complies with the high-level requirements of the National Security Framework (ENS), ensuring high availability, operational redundancy, and protection of hosted data.
The launch of the new data center comes at a time when companies are seeking a balance between technological innovation and control over critical information. Through its proximity model, Nunsys Cloud enables organizations to maintain data sovereignty within the country, which is particularly important amid the growth of artificial intelligence and new regulatory requirements. The initial investment in the project reached €10 million, and the company has announced additional investment plans over the next five years to expand capacity, introduce new technologies, and enhance platform security and performance.

Currently, Nunsys Cloud serves nearly 1,500 clients, with annual revenue approaching €3 million. With the new data center operational, the company expects to accelerate growth and consolidate its position as one of Spain's leading proximity digital infrastructure providers. The strategic plan includes doubling the client base over the next five years and increasing business volume to €10 million. The company will continue to develop solutions in cloud computing, backup and data recovery, advanced cybersecurity, and infrastructure optimized for artificial intelligence environments.
Technology manufacturers involved in the project include Cohesity, CommScope, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, HPE, Lenovo, Netskope, Paessler, Parallels, RUCKUS Networks, Veeam Software, and VMware by Broadcom (via Arrow ECS).
