The CS-3 system is based on Cerebras' industry-leading wafer-scale engine architecture, with a processor physical size exceeding that of any traditional AI chip. The system integrates advanced liquid cooling, high-density power delivery, precision mechanical assembly, and network infrastructure, designed for large-scale AI training and inference tasks.
The expansion plan includes adding new production lines, expanding factory floor space, upgrading testing infrastructure, and hiring more skilled manufacturing personnel in California. Flex is building dedicated manufacturing capacity for Cerebras in Milpitas, with multiple new assembly and integration lines expected to become operational within 2026. Production operations at the Milpitas facility cover precision mechanical assembly, high-power electrical integration, liquid cooling system installation, optical network validation, and full-system rack certification.
