Zhu Kebing thanked the Baiyin Municipal Party Committee and Government for their long-term support to China Minmetals. He stated that after 76 years of development, China Minmetals has become a modern metal and mineral enterprise group with five major characteristics: mineral resource-based, diversified main business, multi-structured, transnational operations, and large-scale integration. Last year, China Minmetals and Baiyin Nonferrous signed a strategic cooperation agreement and jointly established the Gansu Branch of the National Technology Innovation Center for Efficient Development of Strategic Rare Metal Minerals, marking a comprehensive and deep-level new phase in their cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides would further leverage the platform of the National Innovation Center's Gansu Branch, relying on their respective resource endowments and industrial advantages, to deepen collaboration across the entire industrial chain, including mineral resource development, raw material trade, smelting and processing, and logistics services, while expanding cooperation in emerging fields such as new energy, new materials, and green low-carbon development.

Zhang Yanbao welcomed Zhu Kebing and his delegation. He stated that China Minmetals is a leading enterprise in the industry, with its main business highly aligned with Baiyin City's strategy of "Strengthening the City through Industry and Innovation-Driven Development." He hoped that both sides would take this meeting as an opportunity to focus on Baiyin's new industrialization direction, strengthen practical cooperation between China Minmetals and Baiyin Nonferrous and its affiliated enterprises, and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries as well as the cultivation of emerging industries.

After the meeting, Zhu Kebing attended the Baiyin City Investment Promotion Conference of the 32nd Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, where Wang Xingquan delivered a speech on behalf of China Minmetals. China Minmetals and Baiyin Nonferrous signed the deepened strategic cooperation agreement, while China ENFI, Changsha Institute of Mining Research, Minmetals Copper, and Minmetals Futures signed five specific cooperation project agreements with Baiyin Nonferrous and its subsidiaries.

Relevant officials from the Baiyin Municipal Party Committee, Government, and Baiyin Nonferrous, as well as heads of relevant departments and enterprises of China Minmetals, participated in the event.
