The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion by increasing the number of general-purpose lanes from six to twelve. The initiative includes constructing nine crossings to connect I-30 with key infrastructure, including the Southern Gateway, I-35E Lowest Stemmons, and The Horseshoe in downtown Dallas.
