India's Pace Digitek Produces Over 260 BESS Containers in First Year

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Lineage Power Pvt Ltd (LPPL), a subsidiary of Pace Digitek Ltd, has completed one year of continuous commercial manufacturing of battery energy storage systems (BESS) at its facility in Bidar, Karnataka. The company stated that LPPL has produced over 260 utility-scale BESS containers in the past year, corresponding to a combined energy storage capacity exceeding 1.25 GWh. Pace Digitek noted that this is one of the largest achievements in utility-scale "cell-to-BESS" manufacturing by an Indian company within a single year.

The company's BESS business unit integrates engineering, battery system assembly, container manufacturing, power conversion systems (PCS), energy management systems (EMS), and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities under a single operational model. In its statement, Pace Digitek highlighted that through participation in the deployment of multiple utility-scale BESS projects, the company's end-to-end capabilities in engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and lifecycle services have been further strengthened, laying the foundation for future growth.
