The approved scope includes 8 generating units (totaling 47.2 MW) at the Cajuína C21 wind farm, 10 generating units (totaling 59 MW) at the Cajuína C23 wind farm, and 1 generating unit (5.9 MW) at the Cajuína C22 wind farm.
Additionally, the Ventos de Santa Luzia 17 wind farm of Casa dos Ventos, located in Paraíba, has also been approved for trial operation, involving unit UG11 (4.5 MW) and units UG12 to UG16 (totaling 22.5 MW), with a total trial operation capacity of 27 MW for this wind farm..
In the hydropower sector, Aneel has approved the commercial operation of generating units UG1 to UG3 at the São João II small hydropower plant in the municipality of Prudentópolis, Paraná, with a combined installed capacity of 7 MW. This approval enables the Brazilian power system to simultaneously gain new generation capacity in both wind and hydropower sectors.
