en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 12, with the completion of the concrete pouring for the final pile cap, all 324 pile caps of the China-Mongolia cross-border railway project have been fully completed, marking the transition of the project into the upper structure construction phase, including pier shaft pouring and prefabricated beam erection.

To efficiently advance the pile cap construction, the project leveraged the "Six Comparisons and Six Innovations" labor competition as a driving force, dynamically optimizing construction plans and on-site resource allocation, refining monthly construction tasks, and fully ensuring construction progress. Addressing the challenges of frequent strong winds and dust in the local area, which can affect concrete forming quality, the project optimized construction techniques based on site conditions, prioritizing concrete pouring during windless nighttime periods to effectively avoid quality defects such as rough surfaces and exposed reinforcement. At the same time, close attention was paid to the entire chain of concrete mixing, transportation, pouring, vibration, and curing, ensuring orderly and reliable pile cap construction.

As the second cross-border railway between China and Mongolia, upon completion, this project will connect the Ganquan Railway with Mongolia's southbound railway, further promoting energy resources, infrastructure connectivity, and economic and trade exchanges between the two countries, driving upgrades in cross-border logistics, industrial parks, border trade services, and other sectors.
