The core upgrades for the 2027 model year Roll-Belt 1 Series round baler focus on durability and ease of use. Key improvements include larger rollers and bearings in high-wear areas such as the tailgate, back-wrap roller, and driven rollers to extend equipment life. A new net wrap protection system uses electro-hydraulic belt tension control to prevent damage to the net wrap when the bale is ejected, which is particularly valuable when baling heavy corn stalks or straw. Simplified design reduces the need for re-baling under demanding conditions. On the technology front, the newly introduced Bale Command 8 color touchscreen display targets operators who do not require full ISOBUS functionality. New Holland also offers factory-preinstalled IntelliBale automation, which comes pre-configured from the factory, allowing customers to use automation features directly without dealer setup. Berwager stated that these updates aim to make daily baling easier, more consistent, and more efficient, helping operators work more confidently under demanding conditions through practical improvements such as net wrap protection, enhanced durability, in-cab controls, and factory-preinstalled automation. The updated exterior features a black frame, silver rims, and prominent blue model numbers.
