en.Wedoany.com Reported - SANY Group's manufacturing facility in Campinas, São Paulo State, Brazil, has completed the assembly and rollout of its first batch of excavators and commercial vehicles, marking a key step in the group's expansion of its manufacturing footprint in Brazil to support business growth in Latin America.

The first phase of the factory covers 350,000 square meters and features two assembly lines for excavators and commercial vehicles, with a total annual production capacity of 3,500 units. Specifically, the excavator assembly line has a planned annual capacity of 1,500 units, while the commercial vehicle assembly line is designed for an annual output of 2,000 units. This capacity layout enables SANY to serve customers in Brazil and the surrounding Latin American markets more effectively.
By manufacturing locally, SANY can reduce cross-border logistics and import tariff costs, shorten delivery lead times, and enhance service levels for local customers. The Campinas factory will integrate manufacturing, sales, and services, strengthening SANY's supply chain and competitiveness in Latin America. Since entering the Brazilian market, SANY has focused on local sales, manufacturing, and services, and the launch of this factory provides the company with end-to-end manufacturing capabilities in the region.
Localization of manufacturing is a pillar of SANY's long-term commitment to Brazil. The company has also made significant investments in localized operations, sales channels, and financial services. Currently, 80% of SANY Brazil's employees are locally hired, and the company has established a network of dozens of dealers across the country. The factory has created approximately 200 direct jobs, with thousands more expected in the future.
Additionally, SANY Banco received approval from the Central Bank of Brazil in 2025 and officially began operations in early 2026, offering integrated solutions for equipment, services, and financing to local customers.
SANY Latin America Chairman Cao Te and Project Manager Chen Wei stated that the first-phase production line has achieved initial production capacity, and planning for the second-phase factory has already begun. In the future, more product categories will be gradually introduced to further expand SANY's product lineup in Brazil. They noted that SANY will use the Campinas factory as a regional manufacturing hub to further strengthen localized production and deliver high-quality products to customers in Latin America.
