en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 14, 2026, Azul announced the launch of a new cabin class called "Azul Comfort" for its long-haul international flights to destinations in Europe and the United States. Positioned between business class (Azul Business) and economy class, this product aims to meet the needs of passengers seeking more comfort and convenience during their journey without the cost of a business class fare.

The new cabin will be installed on the Airbus A330 aircraft used by the company. With this addition, the aircraft will offer three service classes: Azul Business, Azul Comfort, and Economy. Differentiating features of Azul Comfort include wider seats, increased seat pitch, footrests, and a 2-3-3 layout. Passengers will also enjoy a range of exclusive benefits such as priority boarding, priority overhead bin space, amenity kits, welcome drinks, and upgraded in-flight dining services.
Azul stated that the new cabin is part of its strategy to expand premium offerings, in response to the growing market demand for a more comfortable travel experience. Ricardo Andrez, Azul's Marketing Director, said the product is designed to serve passengers who value space, comfort, and convenience during their journey, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing diverse experiences.
The company will continue to offer Azul Business class on international flights, featuring fully lie-flat seats, direct aisle access, premium in-flight services, amenity kits, and access to the Azul lounge at Viracopos International Airport (Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos). The launch of Azul Comfort strengthens Azul's investment strategy in enhancing customer experience and positioning itself in the premium market.
