en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 13, the overall electrical tests for the stator of the first unit at the Datang Zhala Hydropower Station were completed.
To address the challenge of test data being easily disturbed by the plateau climate, large temperature differences, and high humidity, the Zhala project team of Sinohydro Bureau 7 developed new equipment for core loss testing and optimized the implementation plan for high-voltage testing technology specific to the plateau. The project adopted a combined standardized and refined operation mode, overcoming the precision challenges of plateau testing. Key test items, including stator core loss, winding insulation resistance, coil DC resistance, and stator AC withstand voltage, all passed on the first attempt. All test data precisely matched the design indicators, with error margins strictly controlled, meeting national standards and equipment factory technical requirements. This marks the formal closure of the core electrical performance acceptance for the stator of the first unit at the Zhala Hydropower Station.

The successful completion of the full set of stator tests on the first attempt verified the standardization of the stator installation process and the stability of construction quality for the first unit, providing a technical foundation and quality assurance for controlling the overall electromechanical installation schedule and ensuring the unit's timely commissioning and power generation.
