en.Wedoany.com Reported - The stator of Unit 6 at the Yebatan Hydropower Station was hoisted into place on July 13. This marks the completion of stator hoisting for all six units of the station, laying the foundation for the full transition to unit assembly and commissioning.
As one of the core components of the unit, the stator of Unit 6 consists of an iron core, windings, and a frame. The stator core is assembled from over 90,000 sheets of 0.5 mm thick silicon steel. The stator frame has an outer diameter of 5,621.11 mm, a net height of 4,515 mm, and a total hoisting weight of 410 tons. The construction unit planned in advance and formulated a special safety technical plan for hoisting to ensure the stator was precisely lowered into the foundation pit as scheduled.

The Yebatan Hydropower Station is located at the junction of Gaiyu Township in Baiyu County, Sichuan Province, and Luomai Township in Gongjue County, Tibet. It is a key component of China's "West-to-East Power Transmission" continuation base and the southwest hydropower base construction. The underground powerhouse houses six units with a total installed capacity of 2.24 million kW. The Installation Branch of Sinohydro Bureau 7 is responsible for the electromechanical equipment installation of all units.
