en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 17, China's Yufan Intelligence unveiled its first fully self-developed quadruped robot, "Cyberling™️·Lingmao," at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026). The robot made its public debut across two venues—the World Expo Exhibition Center and the West Bund International Convention Center—with a dual-venue exhibition lineup and a unique "Lingmao Group Dance" performance.

"Lingmao" is the world's first quadruped robot capable of completing a 720° continuous backflip. At the developer zone of the World Expo Exhibition Center, Yufan Intelligence showcased alongside numerous industry chain partners, highlighting the technical foundation and open ecosystem of "Lingmao." Meanwhile, at the central exhibition area of the West Bund International Convention Center, "Lingmao" delivered intuitive high-dynamic performances to a broader audience, transforming embodied intelligence from a technical concept into a tangible, perceptible experience.

This year's WAIC is themed "Intelligent Partners, Creating the Future Together." On the first day of the exhibition, 15 "Lingmao" robots made a collective appearance across the two venues, performing seven sets of high-difficulty maneuvers, including 720° continuous backflips and synchronized group dances. Facing complex on-site environments and dynamic performance commands, "Lingmao" adjusted its posture and gait in real time, precisely executing each leap and landing. From 720° continuous backflips to side flips and other challenging solo stunts, the robot demonstrated its ability to perceive and respond to environmental and self-state changes in real time during motion. The synchronized group dance of multiple "Lingmao" robots further validated the level of collaborative decision-making and synchronized control under cluster scheduling.

During the exhibition, Zhao Hongyi, founder, chairman, and CEO of Yufan Intelligence, appeared as an industry practitioner at the "AI Innovators' Think Tank" hosted by China Business Network (CBN). Centered on the topic "Symbiosis: New Value of Carbon-Based and Silicon-Based Entities," he joined other guests in discussing "From Coexistence to Co-Evolution: How Carbon-Based and Silicon-Based Entities Move Forward Together"—a question that "Lingmao" aims to answer as it transitions from the exhibition stage to industrial applications.

"Lingmao" is Yufan Intelligence's first fully self-developed quadruped robot product, integrating a super brain and a super body. With a heterogeneous dual-brain architecture and a fully open interface ecosystem, it provides a universal robot platform. The robot adopts a globally pioneering large-and-small dual-brain architecture: the large brain handles intelligent decision-making, while the small brain manages millisecond-level motion control. It comes natively equipped with Orin computing power (optional), paired with binocular high-definition cameras and multimodal perception modules including 4G, voice, image transmission, and UWB. Built-in Yufan's self-developed general-purpose robot brain, Manas, enables spatial perception and intelligent decision-making. "Lingmao" can perform the world's first 720° continuous backflip, thanks to Yufan's self-developed high-torque joint motors, featuring a globally pioneering AI joint control technology that no longer relies on fixed parameters. The AI autonomously completes motor parameter tuning and control, allowing the robot to learn "self-evolution." In terms of load capacity, "Lingmao" boasts a super-strong body, supporting a 20kg motion load with a load-to-weight ratio of 1.3:1. A 432Wh battery supports 5.5 hours of continuous walking, and 3.5 hours of walking under a 15kg load. The robot is compatible with the ROS2 standard, offering Python/C++/SDK development interfaces, with fully open joint interfaces and underlying data streams. It supports cloud-based custom Agent integration and mobile app visual management. From July 17 to 20, "Lingmao" will continue its high-dynamic performances at the World Expo Exhibition Center (Booth: H4-FT B312) and the West Bund International Convention Center (Booth: X1B-706).
