en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East (Минвостокразвития России) has submitted to the government a power development plan for the Far Eastern Federal District through 2036, which also includes forecasts up to 2050. This was announced by the press service of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.

According to the plan, a new method will be used for the Far East surcharge. Half of the funds will continue to be used to subsidize electricity tariffs, while the other half will be allocated for the construction of energy facilities needed in the Far East.
The plan consists of three main parts. The first part focuses on improving the operational efficiency of existing power facilities. The second part covers power supply solutions for announced investment projects. The third part involves the advance construction of power facilities for future investment projects.
