en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ilya Ilyushin, head of the Russian Federal Center for Agricultural Export (Agroexport), recently stated that Russia's potential for agricultural exports to China is expected to exceed $9 billion by 2030. The forecast was announced during the 2026 All-Russian Field Day event.

According to official data, from January to May 2025, Russia's agricultural exports to China increased by 42% year-on-year, reaching $4.2 billion. Among these, soybean exports saw the most significant growth, increasing 2.8 times; frozen fish exports rose by 79%, beef by 56%, rapeseed oil by 31%, and crustacean seafood by 19%. Additionally, exports of sunflower oil, peas, and related by-products also showed growth.
Ilyushin specifically mentioned expectations for pork exports to China. He expressed hope that pork exports to China would achieve at least a 20% to 25% increase this year.
According to the assessment by the Federal Center for Agricultural Export, by 2030, the export potential of various Russian agricultural products to the Chinese market is as follows: fish and seafood at $3.2 billion, vegetable oils at $2.6 billion, grains and legumes at $1 billion, oilseeds at $900 million, and meat products at $800 million. The export potential for food and processed products is estimated at $400 million, while dairy products stand at $31 million.
The All-Russian Field Day was held from July 16 to 18 in the Altai Territory, covering an exhibition area of over 40 hectares, with participation from more than 200 enterprises and organizations. Agricultural Expert served as the information partner for this exhibition.
