en.Wedoany.com Reported - Abcourt Mines (TSX-V:ABI) achieved a development record at the Sleeping Giant Gold Mine, operated in Quebec, Canada, in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Reported data shows that ore processing volume in the fourth quarter reached 11,891 tonnes, a 160% increase from 7,445 tonnes in the third quarter. Milling volume in June reached 5,229 tonnes, a historical peak.

Gold production for the quarter was 720 ounces (gold produced), of which 646 ounces were poured. Cumulative gold production for the fiscal year was 3,628 ounces (gold produced), including 2,647 ounces poured.

Underground mine development advanced 554 meters in the fourth quarter, with 215 meters in June alone, compared to 307 meters in the third quarter.

ABI stated that development activities increased by 180%.

Total diamond drilling in the fourth quarter was 11,059 meters, a 155% increase from the third quarter. Drift rehabilitation length was 1,052 meters, a 231% increase from 455 meters in the previous quarter.

The average grade for the fiscal year was 4.18 grams of gold (Au) per tonne, while the fourth quarter grade fell to 2.10 grams of gold per tonne.

The decline in grade in the fourth quarter reflects the processing of ore from lower-grade development areas during the transitional ramp-up phase.

Chief Executive Officer Pascal Hamelin stated that the fourth quarter demonstrated the company's success in the acceleration phase at the Sleeping Giant mine.

Although the grade was temporarily lower this quarter due to the mining sequence, the mill efficiency and daily throughput have reached new heights.

ABI has begun longhole stope extraction, with drills currently operating in the mine. The company noted that the rehabilitated drifts will help increase the number of available working faces.
