KG signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly identify cooperation opportunities in areas such as equipment maintenance and repair, personnel training, green hydrogen, and compression solutions.

The signing ceremony took place during an official visit by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Germany at the invitation of German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Under the memorandum, both parties will jointly mobilize expert teams to develop technical solutions aimed at optimizing equipment performance and explore applications in digitalization and predictive maintenance. The collaboration also plans to promote the localization of the green steel and green ammonia value chains and facilitate knowledge exchange through technical and management training.
