en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 18, the second series reabsorber for the methanol purification unit of the Yulin Chemical Phase II project was safely and smoothly transported to the project site, marking a solid step forward in project construction.
With a diameter of 5.8 meters, a length of 96.72 meters, and a weight of 422 tons, this equipment is the largest specification piece transported into the Phase II project. It is a core component of the low-temperature methanol washing process chain, undertaking key functions such as methanol recovery and preliminary separation of carbon dioxide product gas within the process system, while also ensuring the recycling of production media and promoting efficient resource recovery, playing a vital supporting role in enhancing the project's economic benefits.

The transportation of this large equipment took nearly 10 hours. Prior to transport, the Engineering Management Department, in collaboration with the Methanol Project Department, Emergency Management Center, and Procurement and Supply Center, conducted multiple on-site surveys of the route, meticulously inspecting critical points such as clearance limits, turning radii, and overhead obstacles. Based on the equipment dimensions, weight, and road conditions, repeated simulations were carried out to develop a transportation support plan and emergency response plan.

During transportation, staff monitored the equipment's fixation status and driving condition throughout the process, strictly controlled travel speed and trajectory, and precisely responded to unexpected situations to ensure safe and stable transfer. Ultimately, the equipment was successfully delivered to the Phase II project site, completing the large equipment transport task.

The Yulin Chemical Phase II project is currently China's largest single-investment coal chemical project, with a total investment of 176 billion yuan for the chemical plant. The project is led by technologies such as coal pyrolysis, coal tar hydrogenation, and pulverized coke gasification, systematically integrating coal pyrolysis, coal/semi-coke gasification, and downstream deep processing technologies to expand the industrial chain and explore a coupled development path for coal-based olefins and coal-based aromatics. Upon completion, it will produce products including polyolefins, polyester, polycarbonate, polyether polyols, EVA, POE, SAP, DMC, DEC, EMC, EC, etc., with an expected average annual sales revenue exceeding 90 billion yuan.
Among them, the Phase II Stage I project covers an area of approximately 9,200 mu, with an estimated total investment of about 62 billion yuan. After completion, its average annual sales revenue is expected to be approximately 20.7 billion yuan, with an after-tax profit of about 3.3 billion yuan. The coal gasification section will use nine 3,500-ton-class HT-L gasifiers.
