en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 150,000 t/y autoclave EVA project, EPC-contracted by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. for Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., recently completed the review of the storage and transportation process and the 60% 3D model, laying the technical foundation for the project's transition from the design phase to the construction preparation phase.

The review strictly followed national standards for chemical engineering design, safety, environmental protection, and project construction management. Leveraging the 3D model, a detailed joint verification was conducted using P&ID diagrams, storage and transportation plans, and safety design manuals. The review team comprehensively examined the entire process of raw material reception, storage, conveying, and utility media, with a focus on verifying the rationality of the storage and transportation process flow, checking the logic of interconnections between stages, material transfer parameters, and load matching, and identifying process gaps to ensure the storage and transportation system is compatible with the operating conditions of the entire unit, meeting the requirements for continuous and large-scale production.
Regarding the design of supporting pipelines for the new tank farm, the review team focused on identifying potential issues such as pipeline collisions, maintenance access, safety protection, and operational procedures, verifying the safety, compliance, and practicality of the pipeline engineering design from multiple dimensions. This review optimized several design details, improving pipeline layout while strictly adhering to safety and compliance baselines, thereby enhancing the overall operational efficiency of the storage and transportation system.
In the next step, the project team will implement the review and rectification comments item by item, steadily advancing tasks such as 3D model adjustments, detailed construction drawings, and refinement of the storage and transportation plan, while systematically conducting reviews of remaining discipline models and further design optimization.
This project is a key project of Yanchang Petroleum Group and has been included in the provincial, municipal, and county-level key industrial upgrade project portfolios. The project primarily involves the construction of a 150,000 t/y autoclave EVA unit, along with supporting facilities such as a packaging workshop, cooling water tower, ground flare, and peroxide warehouse, as well as modifications to existing facilities including the No. 2 main substation, central control room, and tank farm.
