These LEAP engines will power Airbus A320neo family and Boeing 737-8 aircraft, which were already in BOC Aviation's order book.

Steven Townend, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of BOC Aviation, said: "This is our largest-ever LEAP engine transaction, which will support our growth from this decade into the next." He noted that the significant emission reduction and low fuel consumption characteristics of CFM LEAP engines align with the company's commitment to building an environmentally friendly fleet. Gaël Méheust, Chief Executive Officer of CFM International, stated that the agreement underscores the important role of CFM in BOC Aviation's long-term strategy.

BOC Aviation first ordered LEAP engines in 2013, and its fleet now includes over 240 aircraft powered by CFM LEAP engines. The order was officially confirmed during the 2026 Farnborough Airshow, marking another major deal secured by CFM International at the event.
