RG Architecture is responsible for the design. The building's exterior will feature brick veneer, fiber cement siding, and wooden soffits. The complex includes a four-story bay window overlooking the narrow street, and two rear setbacks will bring more light to adjacent lots.
The 0.1-acre site is located on Shipley Street, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, just one block from the Yerba Buena Moscone light rail station, which opened underground in 2023.
Construction is expected to take approximately 18 months from groundbreaking to completion, with an estimated cost of $5.5 million. The estimated construction cost shared in the project application does not include all development expenses.
