en.Wedoany.com Reported - U.S. project developer Sares Regis Group, on behalf of property owner Vittoria Management, has submitted the latest planning proposal to the City of Palo Alto in Santa Clara County, aiming to construct a six-story residential infill project at 350 Forest Avenue, reducing two floors and 13 units compared to the previous version.

The 71-foot-tall building is expected to provide approximately 119,900 square feet of space, including 69,100 square feet of residential space and 37,000 square feet of a two-story garage. The unit mix comprises 33 one-bedroom, 26 two-bedroom, 6 three-bedroom units, and 4 townhouse-style ground-floor apartments. Among the 69 units, 9 will be deed-restricted as affordable housing for low-income households. The parking lot will accommodate 98 vehicle spaces and 76 bicycle spaces.

The application invokes Senate Bill 79 and Senate Bill 330 (SB 330) to streamline the approval process but does not cite the State Density Bonus Law. The design, by Steinberg Hart, features a podium-style apartment complex with an exterior of cement plaster, metal panels, and wood-look finishes. Future amenities include a fitness center, a community room, and a landscaped courtyard shared with the adjacent apartment building, which is jointly used by Forest Commons residents and Casa Real.

The project requires the demolition of an existing two-story, 16-unit apartment building. The 0.6-acre site is located on Forest Avenue, between Bryant Street and Waverley Street. Future residents will be just one block from Heritage Park and two blocks from the downtown commercial core of Palo Alto. Construction cost estimates and timelines have not yet been announced.
