This upgrade covers three core functional domains: intelligent assisted driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent chassis. It is the largest OTA upgrade since the establishment of the Ledao brand, with the entire upgrade process expected to take 30 to 40 minutes.
In terms of intelligent assisted driving, the system adds the Ledao OSD end-to-end perception model, further enhancing full-scenario navigation-assisted driving capabilities. At the same time, the human-machine co-driving logic has been optimized, improving the naturalness and smoothness of takeover responses; in parking scenarios, it supports active identification and selection of better parking spaces when pulling in sideways; the OSD trip summary function has been launched, automatically generating key information reviews for single trips and supporting one-click sharing to the Ledao Auto App.
On the hardware level, this upgrade adopts a dual-track technical path: the 2026 Max+ and Ultra+ models are equipped with NIO's self-developed Shenji NX9031 chip and LiDAR hardware, and integrate the latest generation of NIO World Model NWM; over 160,000 Orin platform vehicles, including the 2024 L60, 2025 L90 and L60, and all 2026 Pro versions, simultaneously receive the Coconut 3.1.0 upgrade. Based on NIO's unified autonomous driving technology architecture and data loop, comprehensive modeling of urban, highway, parking, and automatic emergency braking has been achieved.
On the intelligent cockpit front, NIO Radio has been upgraded to an exclusive audio community, allowing users to interact and customize personalized audio content. The lock sound effect now supports U-disk custom editing permissions; even without navigation enabled, the system can analyze the structure of upcoming intersections in real time and provide voice prompts for key information; a new Gaode map cruise traffic light display function has been added, with the center console screen showing the status and countdown of nearby intersection traffic lights in real time. Additionally, a new wiper strong cleaning mode has been added, and seat positions support one-click reset to standard; the large refrigerator battery life has been extended; the Ledao brand second anniversary theme day interface has been launched simultaneously; media playback and intelligent voice response speed, semantic understanding accuracy, and multi-turn dialogue coherence have all been significantly improved.
In terms of the intelligent chassis, the focus has been on improving the active protection mechanism in hazardous scenarios. Through more precise environmental recognition and faster intervention responses, vehicle stability and safety in sudden situations are enhanced.
