en.Wedoany.com Reported - The lower reservoir project of the Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station in Zhejiang has passed water storage acceptance. From July 21 to 22, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Zhejiang Provincial Energy Bureau, in conjunction with the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, organized relevant units and experts to form an acceptance committee to conduct water storage acceptance work for the lower reservoir project of the pumped storage power station in Songyang, Zhejiang.

During the acceptance period, the committee successively heard reports from the construction unit, design unit, and supervision unit on the water storage acceptance of the lower reservoir project. Relevant units and departments reported opinions on preliminary work such as quality supervision, safety appraisal, special immigration acceptance, and technical pre-acceptance. After thorough discussion, the acceptance committee formed an appraisal opinion on the water storage acceptance of the lower reservoir project. The committee unanimously agreed that the construction of various projects related to water storage in the lower reservoir of the Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station has been basically completed, and the preconditions for water storage have been fully implemented, meeting the requirements of relevant national regulations and standards. The committee approved the water storage acceptance of the lower reservoir.

The successful passage of the water storage acceptance for the lower reservoir project is an important milestone for the Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station in Zhejiang, marking the basic completion of the lower reservoir basin construction and its readiness for water storage. This lays the foundation for subsequent key tasks such as filling the tailrace system and water storage in the upper reservoir. In the next step, the Songyang Pumped Storage Company, under the Three Gorges Construction Engineering Corporation, will adhere to the construction philosophy of "safety, efficiency, innovation, and quality," steadily advancing all subsequent construction work to ensure the smooth realization of the target for the first unit to generate electricity on schedule.
