en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 7, Solis completed the deployment of its first EverCore commercial and industrial energy storage system at a software IT data center in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The project was implemented by Solis in partnership with Inforce Engineering Solutions LLP (Inforce Solar), comprising an 870 kW rooftop photovoltaic system and a 500 kW/1.04 MWh battery energy storage system. This marks the first deployment of the EverCore platform in a commercial and industrial application in India.

The energy storage segment consists of four SolisStorage EverCore units, each with an energy storage capacity of 261 kWh, configured in parallel; the system is also equipped with four S6-EH3P125K10-NV-YD-H hybrid inverters, delivering a total power of 500 kW to connect the batteries, rooftop PV system, and the data center's electrical load. The four EverCore units together provide approximately 1.04 MWh of usable energy storage capacity.

Under the project's operating scheme, the 870 kW rooftop PV system supplies power directly to the data center during the day, with excess PV generation beyond the site's instantaneous load being stored in the batteries; when load increases or grid conditions require, the energy storage system discharges the stored electricity. The project also includes peak shaving and backup power functions, which can reduce diesel generator runtime when operating conditions are met.

EverCore is an energy storage platform launched by Solis for commercial and industrial users. According to product solutions previously announced by Solis, EverCore adopts a modular architecture, configurable as a 261 kWh single-cabinet energy storage system, with support for multi-cabinet parallel operation; the platform integrates PCS, PV grid connection, on/off-grid switching, and energy management functions into a unified control system, and is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries. Its system-level solutions can scale up to 1.25 MW/15.66 MWh.

Solis first launched the EverCore commercial and industrial energy storage product in November 2025, initially offering 100/120 kWh and 261 kWh configurations. This Chennai project, utilizing four 261 kWh units, represents the product's first actual deployment completed in India.
