en.Wedoany.com Reported - ELEGOO, a consumer-grade 3D printer hardware company headquartered in Shenzhen, China, launched its first filament dryer, the H1 HT, on July 24, 2026, priced at $70 (€70/£62/C$90), with a drying temperature of up to 85°C. Designed to be compatible with fused filament fabrication 3D printers from various brands, the H1 HT allows the company to expand its fused filament fabrication product line, covering the entire process from filament storage to finished prints.

Moisture, which long-term affects filament quality and leads to print failures, is a common issue troubling both hobbyists and professionals. The H1 HT addresses this with a drying temperature of up to 85°C, which the company claims is a leading level among similar products, easily handling common materials like PLA and PETG, and restoring the performance of high-temperature engineering filaments such as PA and PC. The drying chamber features an automatic rotation function to ensure even heating and dehumidification of the spool. The active dehumidification process is achieved through dual automatic vents, which expel moisture during operation and seal to prevent moisture ingress after drying. The device also features a dedicated bypass outlet designed for TPU and fiber-reinforced filaments, reducing feeding friction during long prints.

The H1 HT is equipped with a 3.5-inch full-color touchscreen for monitoring drying status and offers 11 preset filament modes along with manual configuration options. Safety features include overheat protection, a flame-retardant inner shell, lid-open detection, fan failure detection, and audible fault alarms. ELEGOO designed the H1 HT with compatibility in mind for fused filament fabrication 3D printers from various brands, without relying on a proprietary ecosystem. However, the Carbon Centauri 2 Combo, which can run four different spools simultaneously, is an ideal companion system.
