Hang Zhongjiu, Deputy General Manager of China Classification Society (CCS) Jiangsu Branch, and Wang Haohan, General Manager of China Classification Society (CCS) Industrial Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Branch, attended the ceremony upon invitation.

The vessel that commenced construction is one of the main ship types independently developed by CSSC Chengxi, belonging to the fourth-generation Kamsarmax bulk carrier. This ship type features outstanding comprehensive performance, with notable advantages such as large cargo capacity and strong route adaptability. It fully meets the development needs of green shipping and complies with the International Maritime Organization's Tier III emission standards and the third phase requirements of the Energy Efficiency Design Index, offering significant energy-saving and environmental benefits.

Prior to the start of construction, CCS held a special symposium with the shipowner and shipyard. All parties reviewed their long-term, stable, and friendly cooperation history and fully communicated on matters such as construction milestone control and ship quality assurance, laying a solid foundation for collaboration to ensure the high-quality progress of the project. In the next phase, CCS will provide full-process construction survey services, strictly control the ship construction quality and green compliance indicators, and work together with the shipowner and shipyard to build high-quality ocean-going transport vessels.
