Russia's Kaluga Region Signs Fuel Supply Contract Through End of 2026

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Kaluga Region government has stabilized the petroleum products market in the region by signing a motor fuel supply contract valid through the end of 2026, covering the fuel needs of social, utility, and emergency services. The region's governor, Vladislav Shapsha (Владислав Шапша), announced this at a regional government meeting.

The governor stated that systematic response efforts have eliminated panic buying, and queues at gas stations no longer exist. Currently, over 40% of gas stations in the region provide uninterrupted supply of all fuel grades, while 93% of regional stations supply gasoline and diesel in the form of "certain grade combinations."

Shapsha has instructed the heads of municipal governments to maintain personal oversight of fuel supply to residents, enabling rapid response in the event of supply disruptions and sustaining market stability. The stabilization of the fuel market is regarded as a crucial foundation for ensuring the continuous operation of key services and the normal functioning of transport infrastructure in the region. The newly signed contract will guarantee supply to socially significant consumer groups and reduce risks associated with seasonal demand fluctuations.
