Under the agreement, Worley will carry out related engineering services through its Perth office, supported by its global integrated delivery team. Worley stated that this is its first major services framework agreement with INPEX, building on more than a decade of experience supporting the operator.

Worley CEO Chris Ashton said the company is pleased to have the opportunity to support INPEX under this agreement. He noted that the agreement reinforces Worley's capabilities in delivering asset lifecycle solutions and demonstrates the company's strength in helping clients maintain and enhance complex operating assets.

This task was secured shortly after Worley took on pre-FEED work for a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in the Dutch North Sea.
