en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Port of Santos (Puerto de Santos) handled 92.8 million tons of cargo in the first half of 2026, a 5.05% increase compared to 88.3 million tons in the same period of 2025.

Of the total volume in the first half, exports accounted for 68.71 million tons, while imports totaled 24.08 million tons.
On the import side, general cargo led with 14.54 million tons, driven mainly by containerized cargo, which totaled 14.1 million tons. Solid bulk imports reached 5.71 million tons, with fertilizers standing out at 3.72 million tons. Liquid bulk totaled 3.82 million tons, with diesel and gas oil as the main products, together accounting for 1.56 million tons.
On the export side, solid bulk led with 41.04 million tons, with soybeans as the primary shipment, totaling 25.61 million tons. Exported general cargo reached 21.35 million tons, of which 16.71 million tons were containerized. Liquid bulk totaled 6.31 million tons, including 2.09 million tons of fuel oil, 1.07 million tons of citrus juice, and 1.02 million tons of diesel and gas oil.
