en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 27, AGR, a well engineering and project delivery service provider, disclosed that it has established a strategic partnership with THF Engineered Solutions to explore the application of artificial intelligence technology in well planning, engineering assurance, and well delivery processes. The collaboration will combine AGR's well engineering expertise with THF's WellPhase workflow platform, with the first research focus being offset well data review.

The two parties had previously completed a pilot offset well data review. According to AGR's disclosure, WellPhase incorporates engineering logic and the learning intelligent system ELLIS, which can analyze large volumes of historical well data and generate structured engineering information, providing engineers with traceable preliminary reviews of key events, operational risks, and planning matters, thereby reducing the time required for manual collection and organization of historical data.

THF's official website positions WellPhase as an automation platform for well planning processes, with applications including document generation, risk registers, and drilling program preparation; ELLIS is used to preserve engineering knowledge and support well engineering decision-making. AGR and THF also plan to study the application of this technology in processes such as standards compliance, well operations planning, and regulatory assurance. To date, the two parties have not disclosed specific application projects, contract values, or commercial deployment arrangements.
