en.Wedoany.com Reported - Spanish Grupo Durán has brought agricultural machinery manufacturer Galagri under its wing, marking a new phase in its strategy. After more than three decades of importing and distributing agricultural machinery, the group now incorporates its own production into its operations.

Grupo Durán operates across Spain and Portugal, representing brands such as Pöttinger, McHale, and Samson, with an extensive sales network and a solid position in the Iberian market.
Founded in 1983 in A Badá, Lugo Province, Spain, Galagri has contributed to the mechanization of agriculture in the Galicia region over the past four decades. The company currently focuses on manufacturing slurry tankers, while also having developed products such as self-loading forage trailers, disc harrows, cultivators, and transport trailers.
This manufacturing enterprise boasts approximately 2,500 square meters of indoor space, with a plant area covering about three hectares, and a team of 15 specialized technical staff, capable of producing over 100 units of equipment annually.
Grupo Durán stated that after the integration, it will retain Galagri's existing structure, maintaining the company's team and industrial activities unchanged, and plans to progressively modernize the production system to enhance the manufacturing capacity of the A Badá plant. The group stated: "We want to continue leveraging the knowledge and experience Galagri has accumulated over more than four decades, preserving its way of working while modernizing the production system and strengthening its capabilities."
