Wedoany.com Report-Jun 5, Egypt’s Arab Contractors has partnered with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) to jointly pursue construction projects in Egypt and across Africa. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to undertake significant infrastructure developments.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated: “The deal supported a strategic partnership between the two countries.” Housing Minister Sherif El Sherbiny noted: “The agreement resulted from my recent visit to China, adding the aim was to share resources to implement megaprojects in Egypt and across Africa.” The partnership focuses on combining expertise and resources to deliver large-scale projects efficiently.
CSCEC, a leading global construction firm, has established a strong presence in Egypt over the past decade. The company has contributed to major developments, including the central business district of the New Administrative Capital and the 1 million-square-meter New Alamein resort city along the Mediterranean coast. Beyond Egypt, CSCEC is engaged in projects such as an urban quarter in Nairobi, Kenya, and the Doraleh Port Project in Djibouti, demonstrating its extensive footprint in Africa’s construction sector.
Arab Contractors, a prominent Egyptian firm, is also involved in the New Alamein project and is leading the multi-billion-dollar Cairo Monorail initiative. The collaboration with CSCEC enhances its capacity to execute complex, high-value projects across the region.
