With maximum dimensions of just 40 x 27 x 7 mm, this sensor series utilizes magnetic position markers for measurement, enabling position detection through air and non-ferrous materials without any mechanical wear.

The TFD-4000 series offers measuring ranges of 0 to 14 mm, 24 mm, or 50 mm, depending on the model. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, features 12-bit resolution, and provides an optional redundant configuration for safety-critical applications. The sensor achieves an IP67 protection rating, effectively resisting ingress from liquids and dust; repeatability is within 0.1% of full scale; and a second channel can be added for applications requiring redundancy.

The magnetic position marker for this sensor series is installed by the user on the application mechanism. Target application areas include textile machinery, packaging machinery, sheet metal processing equipment, medical devices, marine applications, mobile engine management systems, industrial trucks, construction machinery, and agricultural and forestry machinery.
