en.Wedoany.com Reported - Heliostar Metals Ltd. has released its financial and operating results for the second quarter and first half of fiscal 2026, marking the company's best quarterly performance in its history. Gold production reached a record 14,803 ounces in the second quarter, with silver production of 79,710 ounces, also a record, as the company remains on track to achieve its annual gold production target of 50,000 to 55,000 ounces.

Quarterly gold production increased 26% compared to the first quarter of this year, with growth primarily driven by the San Agustín mine in Durango, which saw a 49% quarter-over-quarter increase to 7,216 ounces; the La Colorada mine in Sonora contributed 7,587 ounces. During the period, Heliostar sold 11,960 ounces of gold at an average price of $4,406 per ounce.
Financially, second-quarter sales reached a record $56.5 million, compared to $27.93 million in the same period last year; mine operating profit was $31.1 million. Quarterly net income was $8 million ($0.03 per share), compared to $1.89 million in the same period of 2025. As of the end of June, the company held $43 million in cash with no debt.
Cumulative sales for the first half of 2026 reached $110.88 million, more than double the $50.67 million recorded in the same period last year; cumulative net income was $22.09 million, reversing the previous loss position.
On the development front, the Ana Paula project in Guerrero is considered a strategic priority for the company. Heliostar recently reported high-grade drilling results, with one hole intersecting 99.8 meters at a gold grade of 10.90 grams per tonne. The project's feasibility study is progressing as planned, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027.
