en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 16, the steel containment vessel (hereinafter referred to as "CV") cylinder ring 1 of Unit 1 at the Bailong Nuclear Power Plant, manufactured by SNERDI, was successfully lifted and installed into place. At 18:27 on August 14, CV cylinder ring 1 arrived at the designated area of the nuclear island, and at 11:38 on August 16, the lifting and installation was completed. The entire transportation and lifting process was safe, orderly, and under stable control, laying a solid foundation for the orderly progress of subsequent project construction.

The CV cylinder ring 1 lifted this time is a critical component of the nuclear island steel containment vessel, with an inner diameter of 39.6 meters, a height of 15.6 meters, and a total lifting weight of approximately 1,021 tons. During the construction process, the Bailong Nuclear Power Plant site project team fully summarized the previous experience in assembling the bottom head and cylinder rings of similar units, identified construction risks in advance, and optimized construction procedures and resource allocation. Pre-installable penetrations were assembled in advance at the assembly yard, and painting of pre-installed attachment plates, stiffening ribs, and temporary accessories was completed simultaneously, effectively reducing subsequent construction workload at the nuclear island and creating favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of transportation and lifting.

In the next step, the Bailong Nuclear Power Plant site project team will continue to strictly uphold the safety and quality bottom line, strengthen coordination across all disciplines, and steadily advance subsequent construction tasks to ensure that key project milestones are completed safely, with high quality, and on schedule.
