en.Wedoany.com Reported - RT-One has become the first commercial customer of the AMPHIX AI infrastructure platform. The developer, which is building federated AI infrastructure campuses across the Americas, will use the platform's certified configurations to accelerate the time-to-live for customer environments.

RT-One to Use AMPHIX AI Infrastructure Platform to Fast-Track AI Deployments Across the Americas

AMPHIX is a joint offering from RAVEL and Strata Expanse. RAVEL is a provider of AI infrastructure and workload orchestration software, while Strata Expanse is a developer of the Gray Space as a Service model, focused on high-performance computing deployments. As a deployment model for enterprise AI infrastructure, AMPHIX integrates site-ready land, elastic power, cybersecurity edge networking, certified compute stacks, and intelligent orchestration software. Its production-grade Center of Excellence (COE) allows organizations to validate AI workloads under real-world power, cooling, and performance conditions before making significant investments, enabling pilot validation prior to scale-up.

Under the traditional model, a production-grade pilot deployment can take up to nine months and cost as much as $4 million, yet rarely tests what will actually go into production, leaving organizations to scale up on guesswork. AMPHIX offers elastic, usage-based billing, allowing customers to validate the exact environment they will deploy and even begin serving their own customers from within the COE while permanent infrastructure is still under construction. For RT-One, customer environments can go live months before campus completion, accelerating customer onboarding and reducing deployment risk.

RAVEL and RT-One had previously announced a strategic partnership aimed at building the first federated AI infrastructure model across the Americas. RT-One's work in the COE will certify reference configurations for this model. COE-validated compute, networking, cooling, and orchestration configurations will be deployed at every site in RT-One's portfolio, adjusted to comply with local regulations to implement sovereign cloud architectures.

RT-One will leverage the AMPHIX COE near Colusa, California, to validate and optimize high-performance technology stacks, use RAVEL Orchestrate AI to optimize operational strategies across performance, energy, and cost, train operations teams, and build out customer environments before the campus officially goes live. These validated configurations will be incorporated into RT-One's standardized deployment modules, reducing deployment risk and accelerating time-to-revenue at each subsequent site.

The Colusa COE is one of the largest planned AMPHIX sites, powered by a microgrid developed and managed by Colusa Indian Energy. At the COE, RAVEL is responsible for certifying the technology ecosystem, designing and validating deployments, and providing operator training to bring the site to production readiness, while Orchestrate AI software manages and optimizes the workloads running on it; Strata Expanse provides the physical infrastructure that every AMPHIX site relies on.

Denise Muyco, CEO of RAVEL, stated that the accelerating pace of innovation, unprecedented GPU demand, and the complexity of the AI infrastructure stack have increased capital risk, expanded operational risk exposure, and lengthened the time required to bring a single workload into production. The AMPHIX Center of Excellence was established to address this situation, enabling customers to validate, operate, and prove their infrastructure against real workloads before making major infrastructure investments. RT-One is the first company to run this model.

Fernando Palamone, CEO of RT-One, said that customers purchase contracted capacity with clear delivery dates and performance standards, and RT-One pays a price if either is not met. The company has already secured its land and energy strategy across the Americas. The value of the COE lies in certifying the exact configurations planned for deployment—including the same standardized modules, the same stack, and the same operational strategies—while campuses are still under construction, without waiting for a site to go live. Every hour of validation completed in the COE is an hour that doesn't need to be spent re-proving the same issues in Brazil, Paraguay, or Colombia. The key to compressing the interval between capital investment and revenue-generating service is not the speed of any single site, but rather certifying once and deploying many times.

Greg Wood, Senior Director at Strata Expanse, stated that AMPHIX is designed to provide customers with a more repeatable blueprint for AI infrastructure deployment. Strata Expanse provides the physical foundation—land, power, cooling, and secure connectivity—so customers and technology partners can focus on deploying and operating the compute environment. After validating configurations in a production-oriented environment, organizations can make subsequent infrastructure decisions more quickly and with greater confidence.
