US Dimension Energy Secures $857 Million in Financing
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dimension Energy, a developer, owner, and operator of distributed energy infrastructure, has secured $857 million in new capital to accelerate its distributed solar platform. The funding consists of two components: a $200 million increase to its corporate credit facility, with lead lenders including Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit and funds and accounts managed by HPS Investment Partners; and $657 million in construction-to-term loan and tax equity financing facilities.

Following the credit facility increase, Dimension's total corporate credit now stands at $650 million, giving the company greater flexibility to advance distributed solar projects from development to construction.
The $657 million in financing will be used for 29 distributed solar projects across Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, with a total installed capacity of 149 megawatts. Advantage Capital is serving as the tax equity investor. Coordinating lead arrangers for the debt facility include MUFG Bank, First Citizens Bank, ING Capital, and National Bank of Canada, with Fifth Third Bank serving as joint lead arranger.
This new capital builds on a $650 million portfolio financing completed earlier this year by Dimension, reflecting partners' confidence in the company's project execution capabilities and financial position.
Rafael Dobrzynski, co-founder and CEO of Dimension Energy, stated that the new commitments from financing partners reflect the strength of the company's platform, and with rising demand for distributed electricity, this capital will enable the company to continue scaling with discipline and speed.
Don Dimitrievich, Global Head of Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit, noted that Dimension's distributed solar platform demonstrates execution discipline and portfolio quality. As transmission and distribution costs rise alongside generation costs, distributed solar can provide reliable power near load centers—an advantage that has prompted Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit to continue increasing its investment in Dimension's large-scale execution capabilities.
Tom Bitting, Managing Director at Advantage Capital, said the Dimension team has a strong track record of advancing projects from development to construction, and Advantage Capital will provide tax equity to support its growth and deliver reliable, affordable power to more communities.
Fred Zelaya, Managing Director at MUFG Bank, stated that the bank supports Dimension Energy's latest solar portfolio, which will provide long-term sustainable energy to communities across the United States.
Dimension currently owns more than 600 megawatts of distributed energy assets, including projects in operation and under construction. The company aims to reach 1 gigawatt of operating assets by 2028.
