en.Wedoany.com Reported - Davis Crane Group of the U.S. has taken delivery of a 450-ton Tadano AC 7.450-1 all-terrain crane.

The unit features a seven-axle chassis and is equipped with a seven-section 80-meter main boom, with an optional maximum 59-meter extension jib. In a configuration of 64.8-meter main boom plus 59-meter extension jib, the tip height reaches just under 130 meters; with a 56-meter extension jib and a fixed offset jib attached, the tip height can reach 133 meters. Additionally, an 81-meter luffing jib can be configured, combined with the enhanced SSL Sideways Superlift system, achieving a similar tip height. The maximum counterweight is 150 tons.

The crane is equipped with Tadano's "Surround View" system, which uses six cameras to generate a computer-assisted display in the operator's cab, indicating the maximum outrigger extension range achievable at the crane's current position, maximizing the support base to obtain the best load chart for that position.

The new unit is initially scheduled to be deployed on a data center project in West Texas, followed by use in wind power, bridge, and infrastructure projects.

Company CEO Dennis Davis stated that he looks forward to putting this crane to work alongside the Goins Crane Service team and observing the value it can bring to customers in West Texas.

Chief Operating Officer Wes Dowd noted that with its lifting capacity, extended reach, and versatility, the AC 7.450-1 enhances the company's ability to support heavier, more demanding projects; the crane's technology, from flexible road travel configurations to intelligent control software, is impressive.
