en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 19, SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) issued an EPC tender notice for the development of grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects of up to 1 GWac in Punjab and Rajasthan, with tender number SGEL/CHQ/Contracts/PSPCL-1000 MW/2026. The scope of the tender includes land arrangement and comprehensive operation and maintenance services for 5 years. The bid submission deadline is September 16.

Bidders may choose from four capacity options: 250 MWac, 500 MWac, 750 MWac, or 1,000 MWac. The 1,000 MWac tendered capacity is divided into four 250 MWac units. Within each 250 MW unit, the contractor shall supply all photovoltaic modules and equipment for the 100 MW portion; for the 150 MW portion, SGEL will provide modules free of cost, while the contractor is responsible for the supply, transportation, installation, commissioning, and O&M of the remaining materials, equipment, and systems. SGEL's module delivery locations include Kutch in Gujarat, Nanded in Maharashtra, and Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar in Punjab.

The contractor is required to arrange project land through long-term lease of at least 28 years and establish legal rights over it. Although the project may be located in Punjab or Rajasthan, the contractor must establish and maintain connectivity with the Punjab transmission network, including transmission lines, substations, bay extensions, protection, communication, and metering facilities. SGEL has already signed a power purchase agreement with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) for the project's electricity.

The procurement follows a single-stage two-envelope process (techno-commercial bid + price bid), followed by an electronic reverse auction. The tender document fee is INR 5,000 plus 18% GST, and the earnest money deposit is INR 1 million per MW. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 2.
